We are a network of people creating and demonstrating design frameworks and methods to improve well-being
Why a Network?
People understand nutrition yet still eat poorly; science has proven the effectiveness of vaccines, but many people refuse to use them; people know they depend on natural resources but continue to destroy our planet. This conundrum of human activities and beliefs conflicting with their well-being became the context for leaders around the world to work together, and create a learning network.
This work started with Patrick Whitney and Andre Nogueira launching the Design Laboratory at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019. Since 2023, the work has continued and expanded to a broader audience.

Project Collaborators
Network
We work as a network of collaborators interested in advancing knowledge at the intersection of design and public health. Some members are from the academic world of these two fields, and some are from other sectors and different parts of the world.
